So those Kyle Martin FSU Hawgs are fucking sick. I was shocked at how smooth they slid, considering they have a fairly wide contact patch. They leave some nice thane on the road too.
…and the place was swamped. My good friends are the managers there and they were having trouble keeping up with everything. So this one man, a middle-aged doctor, was picking out a lot of stuff for him and his kids. Knowing a lot about boards, I talk to him and help him work through what wheels, trucks, decks, etc. would be best for him, his 6-year old, and his 9-year old. I talk to him for upwards of an hour or so and he made all his decisions. I was looking at the new Kyle Martin FSU Hawgs in the display case and told him that they were a brand new wheel and he tells the employee who started to ring everything up to “add those fancy new wheels for my very helpful friend here.” I was stunned and incredibly happy and grateful. I’ll let you all know how they ride as soon as I get the chance to skate them! :)
Just got my second formal offer for an internship this summer! It’s crazy that I can now pick and choose between my two offers! I already know which one I’m going to accept and will be doing so tomorrow. SO EXCITED.
This is beautiful.

I legitimately want to skip ahead three or four years in my life and be living and working in California. Once I’m done here, I never want to live in Florida ever again.
I want a Grease Hammer so badly.
